A Tropical Dream
It can be yours
17 Apr 2008

When you are daydreaming chances are your thoughts don't drift to real estate in sunny Alberta but rather to a tropical paradise where you have just bought a beachfront property. The trees sway in the breeze as the water laps onto the shore and you take in the breathtaking landscape that surrounds you.  It would hard not to get caught up in a dream like that.  We all dream a little and then get back to reality, right? Isn’t that a someday kind of wish like winning the lottery or marrying rich? Dreams like that are for other people not your average bear like you and me. Not! You will find your dream of beachfront property begins in Alberta.

We need to not only dare to dream but dare to make it happen.  Your dreams will lead you if you focus on them and believe it can happen.  Your dreams won’t come true as you sit in your Barca Lounger relaxing. No you must diligently pursue the means that will take you to that end.  Remember that to someone else you are ‘other people’ so why not get out there and make it happen?

Here is a tip for free to get you started on your path to success: Alberta, Canada. The booming economy in the Central Alberta corridor is supporting the lowest unemployment rate in Canada and the highest employment rate in the country as well.  The oils sands projects are really adding to the market fundamentals.  The economy is expected to stay strong for a number of years to come with just the construction projects that are being planned for right now, let alone the ones to come.  As a 2004 projection this doesn’t even take into account the projects that have been announced in the last three years.

Calgary, Alberta is growing by a net migration of 25,000 people a year right now.  That is just one city!  Add to this the projected deficit of 330,000 trades people that we will need over the next ten years and you can see why employment calls are going out across the world. Each person coming to Alberta to answer the call will need a place to live, a place to call home. Consequently, the housing market is going nuts and will continue to for some time.

An incredible salary awaits you in Fort McMurray, Alberta but the available housing may mean you rent a cot instead of a room.  The rent on that cot could well be the same as you paid for a house in other parts of the country. People need a place to live and if you happen to own real estate in the central Alberta corridor you have hit the jackpot.

The beauty of this is that there are still properties to buy and sell.  There are still people moving, retiring, downsizing and therefore selling their homes. That is where your ticket to that tropical beach comes in. You can’t ask for a better investment right now than real estate in Alberta as it will give you a higher return than almost anything else with a reduced risk.   Don’t go in blind though, if you need help seek out investors who are making it work and let them help you.  Make sure they are reputable people who are living the dream themselves.

Investing in real estate in Alberta is a great way to step into your beachfront property dream.  Don’t look back at what could have been, make it happen now!
